Dr. Maxwell Beattie grew up in Bowling Green, Ohio. He graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. Following his undergraduate education, he attended The Ohio State University where he was awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He then completed a one-year general practice residency at the University of Toledo Medical Center, where he received advanced training in oral surgery, anesthesia, pharmacology, and treatment of medically compromised patients. After recognizing his passion for endodontics, he continued his education at the University of Michigan where he completed a three-year residency, earning a Certificate and Master of Science in Endodontics. During residency, he conducted clinical research investigating a new method of radiologic imaging. Dr. Beattie is also certified in intravenous sedation and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Outside of his professional work, Dr. Beattie enjoys playing golf, working out, and watching sports. ​
